CLAN description

Village Dummies is a Clan in the game Clash of Clans. We are a friendly adult clan that loves to war constantly.

We’ve been around for a while and love to win wars, earn clan games rewards, build our clan capital, and most of all - advance the clan members through education and leadership.

CLAN CHAT RULES

Be kind to others. Encourage each other and have decent manners. A little “please” and “thanks” go a long way. Offer friendly advice, attack strategies, army comps, and anything helpful.

Don’t be an angry YETI or a jerk. Cursing someone out or throwing a tantrum will get you the boot.

If someone is at least 2 or more town hall levels rushed please let us know in the chat so we can address it.

DONATIONS

Seems obvious, but if you only take and don’t give, we will notice and eventually kick you out.

The absolute minimum should be 1000 troops total given and received per season.

CLAN WARS

We enter wars as soon as we end the previous war unless there’s not enough time to finish a war before clan war league. Turn your preference to green to be included in wars. But be careful leaving it on red for too long. We might start to think you don’t like war…and we are warriors. Not having any heroes available isn’t a reason to not war. Try to time your hero upgrades to have them ready for CWL.

Strategy for war: Make your first attack against your mirror in the first half of war. Use your second attack to clean up below you. If someone attacked your mirror go down one or until the next unattacked base and try to attack sooner next war. Don’t go high or too low on any attacks. If you’re not sure, please ask in the chat. Missing both attacks will get you kicked if you’re a member or demoted if you’re an elder.

CLAN WAR LEAGUE

Clan War League is our favorite time of the month. This is the time to prove yourself for 7 straight wars in 7 days. Try your best in these attacks. Try to time your hero upgrades to have them ready for CWL. Use power potions and hero potions to get the best attacks.

Strategy for CWL: Bottom half of players should attack first and work up from the bottom. If someone gets zero stars below you then we can all drop one enemy base. THIS IS NOT ABOUT MIRROR ATTACKS. Count how many bases are left to attack and count how many players under you still have to attack. It’s about MAX stars. If someone attacked your mirror go down one or until the next unattacked. Don’t go high or too low on any attacks. If you’re not sure, please ask in the chat. Missing two wars will get you kicked if you’re a member or demoted if you’re an elder.

CLAN GAMES

Clan Games rewards are important to our clan because they help advance the members with potions, books, gems, and resources. Our desire is that everyone in the clan benefits from these rewards and so we encourage everyone to get their max points. Help each other out by offering to donate requested troops or clear your cc for someone trying to donate spells or troops to accomplish one of the tasks. Don’t start a challenge unless you can finish it. Judo Sloth has a good video about completing max points super fast.

Raid Weekends

Raid weekends happen every single weekend and we really want everyone to complete their 6 attacks. You get 5 attacks to start with and if you are the one to 3 star any district or capital you get the 6th attack. We don’t care if you use all 6 attacks in a row as long as you are trying to get max damage each time. Plus, you get raid medals for attacking!

Capital Gold Donations: Please donate to the listed priorities and nothing else. We have a plan and never want to rush our district halls or capital hall.

Your Home Village

We do care about your home village and want you to be strong for wars. Having said that, please upgrade your troops, spells, defenses, heroes, and clan castle to max before you upgrade your town hall. Your town hall should be the very last thing you upgrade on your base for each town hall level. When you rush the town hall upgrade you hurt your ability to do well against other town halls the same level as yours. This causes us to get less stars and give up more stars to the enemy clan. Neither are good.

So don’t rush your base or else you will force us to sit you out from war or kick you if it’s really rushed.

base design

For WARS please find a good base design that tries to prevent the enemy from getting to your town hall and getting 2 or 3 stars. Forcing the enemy to get a 1 or 0 star is the goal. Ask the clan to test your base in friendly challenges and offer feedback about your base.

If a leader asks you to change your design, please do so before the next war. If you’re not sure what to change it to, just copy a leader’s base design until you find one that works better.

Promotions

In every clan there’s totally different expectations for promotions from member to elder to coleader. We’ve seen it all. People join and before they even say “hi”, they ask for a coleader promotion. Lol. And on the opposite end of the spectrum we have people that we will be happy warriors for an entire year and never say anything about a promotion. In THIS clan we strongly value the elder position and know that when it is earned….it was well earned. The only way to lose it is to miss 2 attacks in war or say something totally absurd in the chat and get yourself kicked.

So let’s get some info in writing from our Leader, Marie, over the

last few months that we’ve seen in the chat.

To become an elder:

1. Donations over a combined 1000 in a season. Given plus received.
   
2. Helpful and friendly in the chat. Not a jerk or condescending.
3. Participate in all aspects of the game: wars, CWL, clan games, and raid weekends.
4. Don’t rush your base too much or not listen when a leader tells you to get your defenses up before another th upgrade.
5. Opt in for CWL and complete all of your attacks.

To become a co-leader:

1. An existing co leaves the game for some reason and the leader decides that you are THE BEST in the clan for the role.
   
2. The number of coleaders is currently set and no more will be added unless….rule #1.

To become Leader (in any clan).

1. Start your own clan.
   
2. For an existing clan, the leader must be inactive and not log into clash of clans for a total of 90 days. If this happens, a the longest standing coleader is automatically promoted to leader.
